"Prior to joining the amazing team at Piecing the Puzzle, I spent 6 years as a dual-licensed early childhood & special education teacher in the public schools as well as supervising home-based services through the Massachusetts Autism Waiver Program. I fell in love with the Autism community and the science of Applied Behavior Analysis while teaching a substantially separate ABA based classroom serving non-verbal and behavioral children diagnosed with Autism ages 3-5. I obtained my bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from Stonehill College, M.Ed. in Special Education from Bridgewater State University, Graduate Certificate in Behavioral Intervention in Autism from UMass Lowell and has completed a 2nd M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction: Autism Studies. My specific interest areas include augmentative and alternative communication and discrete trial training. I am so excited to work with the staff, children and families that call Piecing the Puzzle their second home! "

"I arrived at Piecing the Puzzle after spending the past 17 years working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorders in both public and private schools. I began my career as an Assistant Teacher, which then led me to work as a Behavior Specialist for 11 years. My experience in this role contributed to developing my skills in home-based treatment, parent training, staff development and social skill building. My work as a Behavior Specialist sparked my passion for helping children through the science of Applied Behavior Analysis and led me to pursue my BCBA credential by obtaining my Master of Arts in Psychology: Applied Behavior Analysis in May of 2015. My interests include sports and fitness, parent training, and current research within the field of Applied Behavior Analysis. I am thrilled to be a part of the Piecing the Puzzle community and look forward to connecting with staff, children, and their families."
